Liqid had a very successful show at SC19 in Denver. Our team was able to demonstrate our composable infrastructure solutions to myriad visitors to our booth. In particular, we showcased:
- A live demo of a bare-metal server in our booth composing NVMe-oF to Western Digital OpenFlex storage—nearly a football field away;
- GPU-over-Ethernet with Liqid's multi-fabric composable infrastructure software;
- Our new PCIe Gen4 storage card, code named “Honey Badger,” with 4.7M IOPS and 27-28Gbps;
- Liqid’s memory-dense configuration, a 2U / 2 socket host with 12TB of composable Intel® Optane™ memory.
Liqid CEO Sumit Puri had the chance to speak with Rich from InsideHPC at SC19 about the next generation of data center architecture: Composable Infrastructure. In the interview, they discuss how Liqid takes static servers and makes them dynamic by taking software and reconfiguring servers on the fly, and how Liqid can assist enterprise data centers to access any amount of storage, GPU, compute, and networking that the application layer requires.
Watch this video about Liqid’s mission to turn the data center from statically configured to dynamically configurable.
